The Sims 2 is the sequel of the popular social simulation video game The Sims. The game is developed in a 3D environment , which improves the vision with respect to the first version of The Sims, since now the characters grow and therefore, can die for aging. The descent has also been improved, and the concept of virtual DNA in the characters of the game has been introduced. This allow the children of a family to take after their parents, or even to their great-grandfathers or to other relative, since there are also recessive genes, just the same as in real life.
Days of the week exist, when the children go to the school, and weekends are respected, . The jobs have also business days and those of rest.
Also a meter of aspirations was added, where the desires and fears of each character are included. Each Sim has a specific aspiration among five or six of a different kind. Besides, the Sims are more intelligent in this version, carry out more tasks autonomously and they are more conscious of what happens around them. The Sims 2 Deluxe contains The Sims 2: Nightlife and extras bonus along with the game. |
